PET Championships, Finals & Awards
A season-long championship structure rewarding consistency, progression, and fair competition.
Championship Overview
Pinnacle Equestrian Tour Championships are conducted across three categories: Jumpers, Equitation, and the Next Gen Cup. Jumpers and Next Gen championships are decided using a season-long points system, while Equitation is qualification-based.
Jumpers Championships
Jumpers Championships are conducted on a rider/horse combination basis. Each combination may earn championship points in one selected Championship Track.
Points are awarded at each event based on finishing position and accumulate throughout the season. The combination with the highest total points at the conclusion of the Championship Final is crowned Champion.
Riders may compete in multiple divisions throughout the season. Only results within the selected Championship Track earn championship points.
To remain eligible for championship prize money, combinations must compete at the chosen championship track for the season.

Equitation Championship
The PET Equitation Championship is qualification-based. No championship points are awarded. The Equitation Medal Class is the only championship class.
At every qualifying event, the top two finishers will secure qualification for the Equitation Championship Final.
The Final may include a work-off, judge-determined tests, and a horse swap.

Next Gen Cup – Young Horse Series
The Next Gen Cup follows the PET Championship framework and is conducted on a horse/rider combination basis.
5 & under: up to 1.00m
6 & 7 year olds: 1.10m and over (as offered)
Points accumulate throughout the season and determine standings heading into the Championship Final.

Dress Code & General Guidelines
Show whites are mandatory for all Championship classes and Finals. Riders are expected to present a polished, professional appearance.
Championship prize money is awarded only at the Championship Final. PET reserves the right to interpret and enforce these rules in the interest of fair competition.
